The Flower Garden Corfu
Our base for the week. There is a free Parking spot and the owner is super welcoming. We loved it.

Evening walk through the arcades and alleys.
Old-town dinner calamari
Most mornings started here. Nice cafe. And we had our hidden spot in the back. We had a oat meal with yoghurt each day. For me in the hot days that's the go to food
i dragged sila up to the mountains cause i was a bit bored. She complained a lot but for the photos she smiled I guess she liked it.
Really good meze here, very vegetarian-friendly, and not too touristy. The woman serving us turned out to be the owner warm and lovely. We asked for the backgammon board (the Greeks call it tavli) and Sila won. A handy rule we learned: if you don't know the Greek word for something, take the Turkish one and add an "i". Cacık (Turkish) → caciki (Greek). Works surprisingly often.
Nice and windy up top, but really hot. Later that afternoon the sky opened and it absolutely poured.
Take the stairs down from Vivaria Apartments and you reach a little spot for maybe eight people. Sunbeds in the shade, around €15 for two (probably a bit more by now). Quiet and chill we came back every day.
